Overview

As an MI Analyst, your role will support the delivery of a centralised SBU BI solution and assisting with the wider SBU objectives. In your role, you will be using different platforms, applications and technologies to provide meaningful reporting to enable more effective strategic, tactical and operational insights and decision-making. Description As an MI Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include: Take responsibility for the development, production, maintenance and automation of MI reports, using the Microsoft Workstack (to include: SSMS, SSRS, SSAS, Excel). Administer the MI mailbox, ensuring all work requests are logged in the relevant area for prioritisation by the business stakeholders. At all times ensuring SLA's are adhered to. Pro-actively manage customer expectations while maintaining a good working relationship with key stakeholders. Ensure all data processes and reporting are accurately and appropriately documented. Take responsibility for identifying issues with the data or efficiency of reporting and resolving or recommending solutions. Profile To be successful in your application for MI Analyst, you should have: Experience of data manipulation and extraction tools, preferably SQL Server Management Studio. Experience of turning customer needs and concepts for reporting and MI into a workable format that delivers the results required in a timely and accurate manner. Experience of proactively building and maintaining relationships both externally and with customers throughout the company. An understanding and knowledge of general data management. The ability to quickly and proactively learn new skills, products and software. Experience of managing a mailbox.
