Support Workers Urgently Required Permanent Position Peterborough Area Immediate start Full time hours £8.73ph Our client is looking to recruit experienced Support Workers. A minimum of 6 months experience of care and support services for people with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and autism preferred. We are looking for candidates who have: The Job Role includes; Working with young adults who have learning disabilities & challenging behaviours in a residential setting to actively contribute to the running of their own home. Encourage, prompt and motivate services users to identify and choose their support needs. Support service users to meet their personal care needs. Including personal hygiene, assistance with laundry, financial planning and preparing meals and drinks. Support service users to take any prescribed medication Provide emotional and practical support to service users. Support and encourage social activities Training will be provided, and career progression is optional where applicable.
