Overview
Service Engineer required in Chelmsford, Essex Salary: £40,000 Business working hours are Monday - Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm I have the pleasure of working with a nationally recognized Plant hire business who is based in Chelmsford, Essex. The impeccable quality of their products is well known throughout the industry and thanks to a continued growth in sales, there is demand for an experienced Service Engineer to join the team. The Service Engineer will be experienced with plant machinery, generators, diesel engines and will have served an engineering apprenticeship and, ideally, have recent experience of the plant industry - although full training will be given to applicants who can demonstrate the necessary skills and experience. Responsibilities for the role include: Inspection of new and used generator equipment Carrying out routine service on plant machinery. Diagnostics and repair of plant equipment and diesel engines. Ideal candidates should have the following experience: Experience working as a mechanically biased Service Engineer. Good understanding of site Health & Safety requirements Happy with regular travel and overtime at peak periods Excellent people skills Experience working on generators, plant machinery or agricultural / diesel engines.
