Capital Project Manager - Truro

Long-term interim role for a Capital Project Manager to work on the client-side Your new company You will join a public sector organisation based in Truro who are responsible for the maintenance, improvements and day to day operational running of a large healthcare facility and accommodation in the Cornwall region. Your new role As a Capital Project Manager you will deliver a variety of projects on behalf of the client to ensure they are delivered on time, to the required standard and within budget. You'll work closely with contractors to deliver projects ranging in value from £50,000 up to £2 million - these projects including kitchen refurbishments and power generator replacements. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed in this position you'll need to have a project management background in construction, ideally representing the client although this is not essential. You'll need to have experience in the delivery of refurbishments in an operational environment, working closely with a variety of different stakeholders. What you'll get in return In return you will be offered an initial contract of up to six months in duration, which is highly likely to extend further to nine months. You'll also receive and hourly rate of up to £32 per hour, which could be negotiable dependent on experience.
