Housing Benefit Income Officer needed in West Bridgford Your new company An opportunity has arisen within a not for profit housing association in Nottingham for an experienced Income Officer to join their growing team. Your new role Duties will include, but are not limited to: Monitoring rent arrears and managing these with the tenants, in a professional manner, via phone, email and letter. Producing timely and accurate invoices and requisitions for providers. Work alongside local authorities and tenants regarding benefits and rental income. Other ad-hoc duties requested by your line manager. What you'll need to succeed You will have a strong understanding of housing benefit regulations and claims, and be confident challenging councils if insufficient benefits are awarded.
