Overview

Providing bookkeeping support, including: Managing payroll services; Entering purchase invoices; Processing supplier payments using the Sage system; Assisting with credit control; Sage integration and bank reconciliations. Description The person in this position is responsible for efficient , effective operation in the following key areas: > Office Management: e.g. Organising & coordinating head office & its facilities, following simple standards & procedures to enable smooth day-to-day running of the office; > Bookkeeping & Finance Support: e.g. Providing bookkeeping support, including: Managing payroll services; Entering purchase invoices; Processing supplier payments using the Sage system; Assisting with credit control; Sage integration and bank reconciliations; > Information Management & Communication Flow: e.g. Supporting & enabling the flow of information & communication between team members; > Services & Supplies: e.g. Supporting the smooth running of office services (building services, phone/fax links, etc.) and dealing with ordering office supplies and services; Profile The successful candidate for this Bookkeeper role: Will know from experience how to manage supplier invoicing and payments and a variety of administrative tasks in an orderly and accurate manner. You will be comfortable working with all kinds of people, and will be able to work with minimal supervision in a busy office, with tight response-times. When the pressure is on, cool-headed accuracy is the key. In terms of technical experience, you will have excellent working knowledge and prior experience of Sage accounting software, Microsoft Excel and all other MSOffice applications. Since supporting our finance function is a major component of this role, an entry-level accounting qualification is desirable , while an A-Level/Level 3 accounting qualification is our minimum requirement.
