Vibrant. Exciting. Passionate. Outdoor. Enthusiasm. These are words which sum up my client in Bath. You're going to be working in the mobile and web product teams as a Senior QA Test Analyst. Do you like passing on your knowledge? Well that's great because you'll be looking after two more junior testers who you'll be passing your knowledge onto. With modern offices with air con, showers and lots of space for bikes if you cycle in from the train station for instance, there is also free lunches, regular team get togethers and cutting edge tech. You're role is integral to helping shaping the IT function. As you know, finding bugs is important but also being able to communicate with developers and help with solutions. You'll have experience in working testing applications (in fact this is very important) both TDD and BDD. You'll have sound technical knowledge for instance Bash, Perl, JavaScript and Python. As you might expect exposure to automation is important. If you create a test - automate it right? You'll be a passionate tester singing the pros of good solid testing practices and how they can help enhance the IT teams work. And you'll be keen to pass on your knowledge to the teams as well as those you mentor. So, you will have experience of mentoring; have good technical knowledge; be a good communicator; be passionate, enthusiastic and really excited by new challenges and working on varied projects. Salary is up to £55,000, holidays are 36 per year (including bank holiday), company discounts, modern working environment, and competitive pension.
