Aim of the role: The key aim of the role is to manage the middle office functions and roles in Commercial Banking SBU acting as a primary interface between the front office and back office in delivering customer expectations. The Job holder will work extensively with the Relationship Managers and Relationship Support Manager to develop new initiatives and support the business to attain set customer service expectations. Reporting to: This role reports to the Head of Commercial Banking for the Strategic Business Unit. Duties include: • Assisting to review Relationship Managers (RM) payment log daily for status. • Help to coordinate and respond to all payment referrals for Signature irregularities, insufficient balance and forex conversion. • Help to prepare customer anniversary reports and ensure they are delivered timely. • Assist to manage and update relationship management dashboard reports - Account opening, outstanding deferrals etc. • Work directly with the Relationship Support Manager to ensure all compliance queries are responded to promptly. • Review account dormancy and funding reports, working with the RMs to ensure clients are proactively contacted to regularise their accounts. • Help ensure all mortgage customers have updated property insurance policy. • Responsible to respond to walk in calls / email enquires. Person/Experience required: • Educated to degree level • At least 1 years’ experience in banking (Retail or Commercial) customer services. Key skills: We are looking for someone with the following skills: • Knowledge of operations/back office skills • Microsoft Office systems proficient • Communication: Strong communication skill • Team Working: Experience in managing internal stakeholders, collaborate with own team and other employees. • Results Focus: Drive to achieve objectives/results. • Personal Effectiveness: Organising self/teams to meet agreed deadlines. • Influencing/Persuading: Ability to obtain agreement and cooperation through consensus. • Information Gathering: Collects detailed information from a wide range of sources, using relevant means.
