Overview
An exciting position now exists in the specialist and highly rewarding field of Industrial Disease, specifically Claimant Asbestos Related Disease work for an ambitious Paralegal, Lawyer or Solicitor in Cambridge. Our client is a leading national private practice law firm with a number of offices around the UK dealing with specialist areas in commercial and private law. They have a strong reputation for providing the highest quality of work and excellent standards of client care. There is now an exciting requirement for a Fee earner to join their experienced Industrial Disease team that specialises in ARD claims for people who have suffered illness or injury in the workplace. The asbestos disease claims, will be mainly mesothelioma, with a high percentage of litigated cases being dealt with on an expedited basis in the High Court. The work requires very strong technical skills. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in mid to high value and complex Personal Injury/ Industrial Disease matters and be interested to develop further experience in this specialist area. Requirements: Personal Injury or Industrial Disease/ ARD experience c 1 years with experience of multi-track and high value cases A desire to specialise and excel in Industrial Disease work The ability to conduct business development work and build up a network of contacts Highly client driven and able operate using own initiative or within a team focused environment Excellent interpersonal skills Be able to demonstrate empathy, integrity and a willingness to assist and develop other team members.
