Are you an experienced Care Manager looking for a new challenge? Guinness Care have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager to lead our Home Care and Extra Care Teams across Devon based out of our Tiverton Office. Working with us is different and here’s why: Everything we do is about our customers so any profit we make is re-invested back into our business 94% of our Home Care customers are entirely satisfied with the service we deliver We really value our employees and offer excellent training and support About the role As a Registered Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high quality, responsive and person centred service that meets the assessed needs of customers and supports them to live positive, independent lives. Managing the daily operation of the care service, line-management of Care Coordinators and Administrators Managing and leading a team that provides care to people in their own homes within the Extra Care service Ensuring that the service is meeting and exceeding CQC compliance Be the main point of contact with the Local Authority, GP's, healthcare professionals and service user's families The recruitment and retention of staff and leading the team to deliver an exceptional service Development of the service offering to include both private paying and local authority funded support in line with the organisation’s growth strategy. Being part of the Regional Out of Hours On Call rota for Guinness Care Services. You will have: QCF Level 5/NVQ level 5 in Health & Social Care qualification or a Registered Manager Award Experience managing at least a 1500 hour community based care service Experience of staff management and deployment in a social care environment. A sound understanding of a person-centred approach to supporting people A driver with your own vehicle and the ability to travel over the region on regular basis We make sure we’re always there for our customers, while you will work flexibly as needed to meet the needs of the service your normal working hours will be Mon - Fri 08:30 till 17:00 however, as the Registered Manager you will make sure a member of our team is always available when they need us so our service operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week with our standard offering delivered between 7am and 10pm.
