Overview

We are looking for a qualified Engineer (HND/HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering) with experience of working within the Marine and Navy Industry. This candidate will support the Business Manager’s within the Equipment Sales Teams in the preparation of Sales Proposals, Tenders, Questionnaires together handling of initial enquiries. The Role Office based technical support to the Equipment Sales Business Managers Preparation of Customer Proposals Tender Responses and Requests for Quotations Collation of information for Proposals and Tender Responses Assisting with Proposal Preparation / supporting Tender Submissions Providing Bid Management function on large / complex bids and tenders Collation and issuance of "Approval" documentation Commercial Support (terms and conditions including contract negotiations in conjunction with Commercial Manager) C4C Maintenance (assisting Business Managers with updating C4C/CRM platform) Producing data for Reporting for Business Managers and Management Co-Ordinating and Managing Project Handover’s between Sales and Project Execution / Service Project Management of Selected Projects following Project Methodology Skills & Background Solid Engineering / Project Engineering Background Useful to have Marine/Navy background Read and Understand Technical Drawings Good Communication Skills Good Co-Ordination Skills Proactive, organised, efficient General understanding of Commercial Awareness Ability to work in a team and on own reconnaissance Clean driving licence Engineering Qualification (HND/HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering) As we are acting on behalf of our Client, due to the number of submissions we receive, if you have not heard from us within 48 hours your application has been unsuccessful.
