Overview
My client a leading media company is looking for a Senior Android Developer to join their established development team in central London, they have recently moved into their new modern offices which include table tennis tables, table football, beer fridges and all the latest gadgets and technologies. What will you be working on? The current app is used by millions of users every month, you will join them to work on Native mobile app development for Android, combining radio streams, content and industry intelligence to bring an all-round better listening experience to users. What experience will you have? Commercial development experience in Android Development Experience of working in a cross functional team and experience with Agile practices A good understanding of OOP fundamentals and design patterns Experience with audio in Android A good understanding of RxJava Knowledge of the importance of continuous integration Commitment to testing and an enthusiasm for test driven development Writing and maintaining unit tests Why would you want to join the team?
