Converged Platform Engineer (HCI, VMWare, Storage) A large financial services business urgently seeks and experienced Platform Engineer to support a data centre migration programme, to include the use of Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI). The successful Converged Platform Engineer will play a key role in developing the migration plan and active involvement in the implementation. Also providing BAU support for Dell EMC storage and Cisco converged platforms. Additionally you will have a significant role in migrating workload to hyper-converged infrastructure. Essential skills include: - Excellent knowledge of virtualisation platforms, storage technologies and networking. - Experience migrating workloads from multi-site environments to Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI). - VMware Certified Professional (VCP) accreditation (desirable) - Cisco Networking (CCNA) or Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) - Mware vSphere - Microsoft Windows Server 2012 or higher - SAN and NAS storage technologies - IT Automation and Scripting - Exposure to cloud technologies This is a great opportunity to join a great business undertaking a challenging and cutting-edge cloud transformation programme.
