Overview
Shift Engineers x 2 for sprayed concrete setting out and supervisory work. Setting out role on Tideway projects. Must have good technical engineering knowledge, strong oral and written communication skills, the ability to set out accurately and complete the daily paperwork and reports, with support from foremen. You need a positive attitude to work. Project/package sizes currently range from £20k - £1.5m. Work is at Bermondsey on the Tideway scheme. 6 months plus work. £270 - £285 per 9 hour shift Tunneling experience would be ideal, however a good knowledge in Civil Engineering, Groundworks & RC will all be relevant. Experience with Concrete and applications would be ideal. This is a setting out role. To work in a growing company with regular clients helping to develop the business. Pay rate around £280 per shift UTR, based on your ability. Setting out is with Total stations so prior experience is essential. The company is involved in working on schemes incorporating: Tunneling Groundworks Civil engineering RC substructure works Clients and projects are high profile and include major rail and tunnel contracts. Your background. Civils, RC and Groundworks for Commercial and infrastructure schemes: Qualified Civil Engineer , suitably experienced, ideally from a specialist civils, RC or groundworks background on new civils and residential projects. AutoCAD experience is necessary You should be enthusiastic about your role with a genuine desire to help the company grow and expand as you progress your career with a growing company, embracing their forward-looking approach to Health & Safety. We are looking for someone who is prepared to work on a shift basis. The shifts will be 9 hours long comprising about 7-8 hours of field work and 1-2 hours preparing for the shift, then later writing the daily logs and records. The work will alternate weekly between days, nights and shoulder shifts, you must be prepared to do all shifts. Background.
