Commissioning Engineer - Permanent - £50K per annum plus benefits

We are looking for a HNC Engineer with a background in Commissioning Engineering Projects within the process industry. You will be reporting to the Head of Services and will be responsible for the following:- Technical Appraisal of the Scope and Design of the Project. Conduct installation surveys. Preparation of Health and Safety Plans. Preparation of risk assessments and method statements. Preparation of commissioning plans and final commissioning documentation. Site management of projects as required. Detailed technical report writing. Able to demonstrate a strong mechanical and electrical background in a related discipline. Experience of commissioning applications within the process industry. Technical support to our field service, service administration and workshop team. Able to lead and coach engineers in commissioning activities. Able to deliver technical training courses to both customers and employees. Key Responsibilities Through defined company procedures conducts commissioning of separation equipment. Provides detailed technical reports to support the handover of equipment to the company Service organisation. Based on engineering and product knowledge adapts to changing processes to provided effective start-up of company Separation equipment. Able to think through complex problems and able to define a plan to resolve the issues. Tenacity to close out technical issues. To liaise with the required divisions within company and its suppliers to deliver the scope of the project. To produce on time project reports as requested by the company Management team. Taking ownership to close out issues and changes, seeking advice were necessary. Ensure all changes within the project. Skills & Experience Minimum HNC ideally a Degree in a related discipline. Background in commissioning engineering projects within the process industry. High standard of engineering skills especially electrical knowledge testing. Detailed Knowledge of automation systems and able to troubleshoot and make changes would be advantageous. Strong Organisational skills. Good communication skills at all levels. Good working knowledge of MS applications and business enterprise systems. Able to comfortably deliver technical training.
