Linux System Administrator, Unix Engineer, Red Hat, Solaris, Banking, London, c£470pd A growing bank based in London are looking to add an experienced Unix/Linux System Administrator to join their Unix/Linux Infrastructure team, responsible for the maintenance, configuration, support and documentation of the banks Linux Redhat estate EMEA wide. This is a fantastic chance to join a growing bank that are really on the front-foot. Responsibilities · Systems administration of Unix and Red Hat Linux estate · Support, configuration, planning, documentation for Red Hat Linux estate. · Provide out of hours support in response to incidents on an on-call rota basis · Work within and follow ITIL best practice and principles · Ensure incidents are logged and documented and managed according to Proble · Management SLA’s. · Support, configuration, planning, documentation and projects for VMware and Oracle VM, OVM virtual environment. · Scripting reports using scripting languages such as Shell, PowerShell or Perl. Essentials · RHEL 5/6/7. · Red Hat Satellite. · DNS & Domain management. · Shell scripting.
