If you have an eye for detail and enjoy creating a clean environment for those who are less able, then join the team at Thornford Park as a Part-Time Housekeeper Assistant. You will be working alongside the housekeeping team to ensure all areas of the service are spotless. You will continue to deliver high standard cleaning services, ensuring wards, visiting areas, meeting rooms and service user's rooms are clean. As a Part-Time Housekeeper Assistant, you will work 14 hours a week at £8.70 per hour on a rota basis. Role - Part-Time Housekeeper Assistant Location - Thatcham, Berkshire Salary - £9.30per hour Hours - 14 per week, Part-Time As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will: Ensuring all aspects of Housekeeping duties are carried out to a high standard and maintained. Undertake the cleaning of service user's bedrooms/bathrooms and communal areas on wards. Undertake cleaning of communal areas like offices, dining room etc around the Hospital. Ensure Elysium policies and procedures are adhered to. Complete daily paperwork of your work schedule on a tick sheet. Attend any training required and ensure this is up to date. Any other reasonable requests from the Housekeeping Manager or supervisor. To be successful as a Housekeeping Assistant, you'll need: A good standard of English, as communication is imperative. An enthusiastic approach to your role, along with a good level of physical stamina owing to the nature of the role. Understanding of COSHH and Health and Safety in the workplace would be an advantage (training will be given). To be flexible as the role is 5/7, as some weekend work may be required, including Bank Holidays. Where you will be working: Location : Thornford Park, Crookham Hill, Thatcham, Berkshire, RG19 8ET You will be working at Thornford Park, a 130 bedded independent hospital that supports service users that require medium and low secure Forensic Mental Health Services. In addition to these services, there is also a PICU Mental Health Service. The service provides a seamless internal care pathway supporting and empowering people in their recovery and rehabilitation. Working alongside the multidisciplinary team, you will provide personalised assessment and treatment programmes for males with mental illness/complex care needs as well as those with a personality disorder, and females and males in a PICU service.
