Overview
Global logistics brand is seeking a Payroll Administrator on a temporary basis to join a busy and fast paced finance team in Swindon paying between £20,000 to £22,000 depending on experience. Candidates will need to be immediately available as this is an urgent requirement. Client Details My client is a Multinational Organisation in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector, based in Central Swindon. This location is easily commutable by public transport and car from Swindon, Chippenham, Marlborough and the surrounding areas. Very occasionally You may be required to work one day in the weekend, but will be given plenty of notice. Description The key responsibilities for the Payroll Administrator will include: Processing monthly time sheets on a payroll of approximately 600 employees Resolve and feedback any payroll queries in a timely manner Cost reporting and data analysis Review and ensure accuracy of approved advances, travel and overtime claims Absence reporting - processing of sick notes, data input and reporting to the Customer and site based teams Supporting the finance manager with ad hoc project and admin tasks Profile The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Previous experience in the payroll function is essential - confident in end to end payroll A meticulous eye for detail Confident in handling large data sets - spot on accuracy at all times Strong PC skills - including Pivot Tables and Vlookups Confident and able to speak to all types of people Ability to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure A good team player Job Offer The client is offering the successful candidate the position of Payroll Administrator an ongoing contract with the potential for a permanent contract, alongside a competitive salary of up to £22,000 per annum.
