The successful Software Test Engineer will have in-depth commercial experience working as a Test Engineer. You should be excited by the challenge of using your technical and creative skills to understand what programs you could write to increase my client’s abilities to test software to greater depths and in shorter time frames? The successful candidate will join a fast growing, award-winning business who develop leading edge software and count some of the World’s major automotive, motorsport and aerospace companies as close technology partners. As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for assuring quality across a range of products and to minimize the potential risk. You will be i mproving efficiency and quality of the QA team to ensure QA is not a bottleneck and reliable for helping deliver quality work on time. We’re Excited About You If You Have · Testing large and complex software applications · Experience in Agile methods such as Scrum · Confident and resourceful in the face of challenges · An eye for accuracy & detail with strong analysis and debugging skills · Ability to write detailed test plans & test-cases from technical requirements · Strong programming skills in any language but preferably one or more of C#, Python, Javascript · Experience with automated and manual testing of web front-end and APIs · Excellent communication skills – verbal and written, and able to demonstrate the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly · Self-motivated and able to take the initiative · Ability to monitor and report on progress – highlighting risks and issues as appropriate in a timely fashion Please get in touch / apply to find out more.
