My Client who is a world wide organisation is looking for a talented individual to join their expanding work force. They are looking to maximise sales of oil free air compressors, large oil injected screw compressors and ancillary downstream equipment across the North West region. As a Sales Engineer out in the field, you will have the opportunity to promote the business through development of the customer base. Day to day you will make a difference by Supporting sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets. Supporting sales through undertaking site surveys and providing technical advice to both existing and potential customers. Working closely with the Service Division to ensure an excellent standard of after sales service is provided. Supporting sales through the effective provision of sales data, including the timely recording of visit and action reports and analysis of sales performance against budget. Promoting the business nationally, by supporting the Business Line Manager and other team members in achieving sales. Preparing detailed proposals using our internal CRM package. In return for your commitment, they will offer you A dedicated, interactive and supportive team, ready to welcome you. Regular engagement with your Business Line Manager, face-to-face and over the telephone. Training throughout your career, with at least 40 hours invested in you per year. An excellent benefits package – including a company car plus a laptop and smartphone to get you set up in the field The ideal person will have Experience in the compressed air industry would be great, but is not essential. If you are willing to learn, we are happy to teach. A mechanical or electrical engineering qualification – although this is desirable rather than essential. The ability to travel in and around the North West area on a daily basis. A full clean driving license. Excellent general computer skills. A good standard of presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed. An animated, sociable and confident personality.
