Multi-accredited firm in Northamptonshire seeks a technically proficient Data Protection Principal Lawyer on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a skilful solicitor or legal executive to join our client’s specialist firm located in Northampton. The successful applicant will utilise their expertise to deliver professional legal advice/services to a single client organisation predominantly in regards to freedom of information, GDPR and data protection matters. Responsibilities • Data protection • Freedom of information • GDPR • Ensuring compliance • Advising on client organisations policies and procedures • Advising on improvements and amendments • Act as Data Protection Officer for a single client organisation • Team management/supervision The Candidate • Solicitors and legal executives with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE • Experience in freedom or information and data protection is essential • Flexibility is essential as you may be required to travel to other offices • Highly organised with the ability to meet and exceed tight deadlines • Strive for high standards in your work The Firm Our client is specialist firm who is one of the first of its kind to be established in the UK.
