Possess leadership experience? Principal Adult Social Care Lawyer sought to lead a busy team located in Northamptonshire. Reporting to the head of service, the successful lawyer will utilise their skills and expertise in adult social care to provide high quality advice to public sector clients, alongside the leadership of a team of fee earners. Additionally, the successful lawyer will be required to travel between the firm’s other offices to conduct meetings, therefore a full driving licence will be essential. Responsibilities • Judicial review proceedings • Mental health matters • End of life cases • NHS trust disputes • Court of Protection disputes • Healthcare matters • Investigations by the coroner • Safeguarding • Conducting advocacy at courts and tribunals • Scoping out opportunities for business development • Providing training to clients The Candidate • A qualified solicitor, barrister or chartered legal executive with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE • Technically proficient in all aspects of adult social care and community law • Possesses outstanding communication and client care skills • Demonstrates an understanding of the legal framework surrounding local government • Can successfully lead or manage a team of fee earners • Strong advocacy skills will be essential • Works well under pressure to meet tight deadlines • Has a full driving licence and access to own transport The Firm Our client is a highly regarded social enterprise law firm specialising in the public sector.
