Job Description Title: Operations Manager (Security & Events) Location: North Responsible to: Director - Security Salary: £42000 plus car and benefit Responsible for: Site Managers - dependent upon contract size and portfolio Site Supervisors - dependent upon contract size and portfolio Group Leaders - dependent upon contract size and portfolio Team Leaders - dependent upon contract size and portfolio Security Officer’s Key Relationships: Directors Operations Team Scheduling Manager Administrator Business Development Managers/Directors Sales and Head Office Finance and Administration Departments HR and Payroll Departments Telemarketing Department Clients External Suppliers, subcontractors, organisations, auditors and trade unions. The purpose of this Job Description is to identify key task elements and responsibilities of the role. To develop and deliver operationally and commercially viable account plans for all clients and services within the complete portfolio of your designated service line business area. Financial Performance. Achieve yearly budget expectations for all client operational locations. Client Satisfaction. To be accountable for service delivery and client satisfaction, ensuring this meets both our client’s and employee’s expectations, including achievement of KPI targets. People Development. To develop, support and lead your management and supervisory teams, and wider team members, to deliver client engagement, operational excellence, employee engagement, operational efficiency, optimised productivity and profit on existing contracts. Client Relationship Management. To create productive relationships with all key clients and their stakeholders to drive client retention and client testimonials / referrals. Business Growth. To collaboratively develop and execute the growth strategy within your territory and the wider business to exploit expansion opportunities across all sectors. Person specification: Service line operational expertise in the allocated service discipline area (manned Guarding) Excellent people management skills and experience of leading and managing multiple site, geographically diverse teams Experience of working in a client service driven environment Proactive advocate and user of social media channels to demonstrate client and employee engagement Experience of working closely alongside a business development team and can demonstrate new business wins and development of existing business Strong financial and commercial awareness, including legal governance and contractual terms adherence Ability to think strategically and contribute to the businesses forward ambitions Results orientated Pragmatic problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written Confident presentation skills Self-motivated and able to adapt to a changing environment Skilled influencer Demonstrates the ability to forge and maintain relationships
