Software Engineer, Python Developer, Django, Azure, R&D My client a leading scientific R&D Organisation are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Software Engineer / Python Developer to join their growing team based in Oxford. The successful Software Engineer / Python Developer will have the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of design, development and implementation whilst collaborating with wider teams within DevOps and R&D. This is an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer / Python Developer to be a part of an innovative and fast growing start-up organisation who work in the rapidly growing and fast paced med-tech industry. The Company As the successful Software Engineer / Python Developer you’ll be joining a thriving and rapidly growing start-up organisation. The company combine satellite imagery with radiometry to provide applications for pharmacies and the general public to health care for and improve skin care. What’s required? The successful Software Engineer / Python Developer will have a broad range of skills such as: Experience working with Python ideally in a commercial environment Experience with Git Experience using a Linux Comand line (Linux Shell / Terminal) Experience or understanding of containerisation tools – Docker ideally Experience with frameworks such as Django or Flask is beneficial Cloud experience or knowledge is also advantageous.
