Overview

Main Duties: An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Planning Administrator to join a highly successful practice of financial planners in Skipton. The core purpose of the role is to provide effective and professional administrative support to a busy Financial Planner. The role will be very varied and may change from month to month as the business grows but, you will support branch operations, business processing and business development of the firm. This role would suit a candidate with a strong and robust character who thrives working in a fast paced role which demands high energy and enthusiasm. Core accountabilities will be as follows: Providing administrative support in relation to new business processing and movement of clients’ funds for existing clients. Inputting and managing the submission of client applications relating to a range of investments, pensions and protection products, but mainly pensions. Accurately recording all actions taken and complying with all industry compliance requirements, demonstrating a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail. Typing letters and emails to clients, answering telephone enquiries. Assisting Adviser and Paraplanners in gathering all relevant data and information to allow them to create recommendations and construct detailed suitability reports. Building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients face to face and over the telephone. In return for experience and dedication, a salary of between £22,000 and £26,500 will be on offer depending on experience, qualifications and performance at interview. You will ideally be studying towards the Certificate or Diploma in Financial Services/Planning. You will have an understanding of pensions and investments and take an active interest in the financial services industry. You will be a strong administrator with excellent communication and organisational skills. Good school qualifications will put candidates at an advantage. Due to the fast-paced nature of the role, it is essential that candidates have a robust character with drive and enthusiasm.
