Clinical Psychologist

I am currently working on behalf of a small specialist care organisation that is seeking to appoint a Clinical Psychologist to join their team in West Yorkshire. The service provides care to adults Salary - Band 7/8a equivalent salary 37.5 hours Responsible for Trainee Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists and accountable to the Consultant Clinical Psychologist, you would provide clinical psychological assessments and treatment to clients with severe and enduring mental health disorders. You will work within and contribute to the therapeutic service model and will work closely within a multi-disciplinary team. You would work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the service policies and procedures, and will utilise research skills for audit, teaching, policy and service development. Requirements: Doctoral level training in clinical psychology, including two or more distinct psychological therapies. Current registration with HCPC Minimum of twelve months post qualification experience Knowledge of personality disorders and complex trauma Additional specialist knowledge or training in psychological therapies including models i.e., CAT, CBT, ST (desirable) Experience working in an inpatient mental health setting. (desirable) Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across the full range of care settings, including at least six months clinical experience working in child and adolescent mental health Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life span's presenting problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity including maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive and distressing problems If you are interested in this vacancy please send your CV to and I will give you a call.
