Overview
Purchase Ledger Clark Your new company Hays are supporting a market leading company to help them find their newest Purchase Ledger Clerk where you will be a key part of a forward thinking dynamic finance function . Your new role As a Purchase Ledger Clerk your main responsibility will be managing the purchase ledger from start to finish. This will include processing high volumes of purchase invoices onto the system accurately and efficiently, reconciling bank accounts and supplier statements, and also dealing with any supplier queries that arise in a timely manner and with a good level of customer service. You will also prepare weekly payment runs, and assist other colleagues with ad hoc duties which will give you exposure to other areas in order to further your career. What you'll need to succeed The position requires someone who is confident and well spoken Excellent numeracy skills required along with a keen eye for detail Ability to operate computerised systems including good MS Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) The successful candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and telephone manner An enthusiastic and organised approach to work is required Ability to work alone or as part of a team A flexible approach is essential a s you will be required to cover ad hoc Account duties as and when required Ideally the applicant will have experience in Sales Ledger.
