Overview

Development Assistant - Must have raisers edge Type - Temporary Hours - 25hrs a week (5 days out of 7. Weekend, Bank Holiday and evening work will be required on occasion) Location - Post is based in London (NW) but there will be travel to another site based in Cosford Duration - 4-6 weeks Salary - £12.67ph (rate based on part time salary of £16,483) Ensure that all prospects, donors and supporters enjoy a positive relationship by working with the Development Team to maintain accurately described and consistently filed donor and prospect files on the CRM database, along with the appropriate donor cultivation, solicitation, negotiation and stewardship plans. Process daily gift receipts via the CRM database. Record in the CRM database the date of all customised acknowledgment letters to ensure that all donors have been appropriately recognised. Work with the Head of Development to develop systems to store, track and update donor and prospect information. Ensure the accuracy, security and legal requirements of any migration of Development records from the CRM database. Create tools including contact reports, briefings, gift charts, prospect lists, and prospect management reports, as required. Ensure accurate and timely receipt and acknowledgement of gifts, Membership fulfilment, and any other communications with members, donors, volunteers or prospects as required, in liaison with the member of the Development Team with specific responsibility in each area. Deliver and manage electronic-based guest lists for cultivation, fundraising and stewardship events, working closely with the allocated event lead. Act as point of contact for event responses and information enquiries for the Development Department Lead on the production and co-ordination of event invitation lists Ensure the webpages are updated regularly with accurate information around partnerships, Development programmes and key contact points, and liaise with partners to provide content on these partnerships for their own websites and communications. Develop and manage the lists and co-ordinate content for Development internal and external communications. Maintain an electronic library of documentation such as procedures, policies and reports related to donor relations and communications. Manage the processing of all Departmental invoices and internal accounting procedures (such as catering), as authorised by the Head of Development, in a timely and efficient manner.
