Assistant Project Manager - Competitive Salary Benefits - Linford Wood, Milton Keynes Would you welcome Assistant Project Management experience at a highly ambitious company? A leading provider of e-Assessment software and services is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to work closely with our Project Manager(s) in all areas of project delivery, including; the management of project costs, planning, resourcing and overseeing Project Assistants. The Role The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for supporting Project Managers in the management of all assigned projects to time, cost and quality including planning, completion of project documentation, distribution of work packages and monitoring of progress to ensure key deliverables and milestones are achieved. The successful candidate will also be required participate in risk management, information security and asset management. The role is ideal for a candidate with long-term Project Management ambitions. When required, you will deputise for Project Managers, and have the opportunity to undertake project management responsibilities for smaller project deliveries. You will also monitor temporary workers and supervise Project Assistants when required. The Person You will have a recognised project management qualification or a minimum 5 GCSEs at level 4 or above or equivalent. You will also have experience working in a project management environment, as well as internal and external stakeholder management. Having a high level of competency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook, you will also be a good written and verbal communicator, possessing the ability to produce clear and concise reports including the analysis of project finances and metrics. In addition to having organisational skills, you will also have leadership qualities and a personality that will help build effective and fruitful relations - on both an internal and external basis. Your ability to motivate those around you, combined with the confidence to make challenging decisions under pressure, will be highly valued by DRS.
