Overview
Job Description
You should be a qualified librarian, with a desire to work in a busy teaching hospital library supporting evidence-based practice, research and lifelong learning. You will ideally have a background in a health library setting and be familiar with resources to support health care professionals. Experienced in literature searching and training, you will design and deliver information literacy training sessions for diverse groups of staff. Customer-focused and with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will be an effective team player with an aptitude for problem solving. Competent with IT, you will assist library users to navigate electronic resources and e-learning modules. You will contribute to the day-to-day running of the library, in addition to handling enquiries, and working collaboratively to deliver and promote the library's services, and demonstrate our impact..
