Overview

Job details: As a key member of the support team, the Office Manager supports the business by (i) taking responsibility for the London office and facilities, (ii) assisting all staff with postal, stationery and travel (iii); providing dedicated administrative support to the Executive Assistant. This is a very busy and fast paced role, and the successful candidate will need to be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and able to exercise initiative in a role that requires the ability to multi-task. You will be able to work independently whilst being a good team player, solution orientated and proactive with good time management skills. Key activities and responsibilities: Alongside the receptionist, ensuring visitors to are properly received and welcomed; Ensuring callers to the main telephone line are dealt with effectively and appropriately; Managing the incoming and outgoing post and messaging service, booking couriers, local transport, and catering; Raise POs and process invoices for office services. Ensure these services are within budget. Coordinate office suppliers for stationery, catering, office repairs Assist with general housekeeping, ensure the office always looks presentable and meeting rooms are kept clear; Ensure office supplies are always available and keep organised inventory of company equipment; Booking travel and accommodation for the team; Assisting the Executive assistant with organising, maintaining diaries and making appointments; Liaise with international offices to ensure company processes upheld Carry out office inductions for new London team members Carry out projects around social events for the team as designated Qualifications and experience: Fluent in English Additional fluency in Spanish, Dutch, French or German highly beneficial Previous experience in a similar role Works efficiently and co-operatively within local teams and remote/international workers Ability to remain calm under pressure Good communication skills Experience of using Microsoft software packages Experience of using vendor ledger (raising POs and processing invoices) Good organisational skills The ability to work on your own initiative Honest, discreetly and reliable Flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks in order to meet deadlines Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
