Basic Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 Progression to Board Pension Health scheme Lunchtime finish on Fridays Hampshire based Are you looking for an opportunity to join an evolving engineering business and progress into Manufacturing & Operations Director? This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Manager with an electro-mechanical background who wants to help shape the future of a highly successful business. My client design and build high tech equipment that is used globally and they have historically sub-contracted their manufacturing. After recently moving into a new facility, they have plans in place to bring manufacturing in house, and need a strong manager to take ownership of this. Everything they manufacture is low volume and high value; everything is built as one-offs. You will be responsible for manufacturing, including their network of current suppliers and creating a strategic plan of the future supply chain. You will also take ownership of purchasing, inspection, logistics and the warehouse, making this not just a manufacturing role, but a Manufacturing & Operations Manager, giving your departments a strategy and vision to deliver the company objectives. The Candidate: Manufacturing & Operations Manager The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience: Proven track record of engineering leadership within an electro-mechanical environment. Markets you could have worked within include automotive, aerospace, defence, medical devices, maritime/marine, instrumentation, and technology.
