Overview
Are you interested in having the flexibility to work from home? We are recruiting for one of the largest and rapidly-expanding conveyancing law firms in the UK. This is a very interesting role, in that you will be employed permanently but as an internal locum. Instead of running a conveyancing caseload yourself, you will cover and support other conveyancers when they are on holiday or otherwise absent. The length of these stints will vary, from one day, one week or longer depending on what you are covering. To be suitable for this role you will already have significant volume conveyancing experience. Those with at least 4-5 years' experience in handling up to 80 cases at any one time are encouraged to apply. You will need to be efficient in quickly picking up on the work of others and resolving issues with little supervision. This is a home working role, so you will need to be fully computer literate and used to managing your own time and working autonomously. This position can be offered on a full- or part-time basis (minimum' 3 days per week). Although home working, you will be expected to work within core office hours, being Mon-Fri, 09:00 - 17:00, and occasionally alternative hours ie: 10:00 - 18:00, 11:00 - 19:00 or 12:00 - 20:00. You could be either a licensed conveyancer, solicitor or legal executive, with at least 4-5 years' experience. Those who are unqualified but have relevant experience - especially with high volume conveyancing - are also encouraged to apply. You will need to reside in the UK. This is a home working residential conveyancer position. If required you can be supplied with a PC, desk and chair to get yourself set up to work from home.
