Application Manager |£55,000-65,000 | Liverpool | Permanent Your company Financial Services organisation based in Liverpool. Your new role As Application Manager you will support a subset of business applications, ensuring they operate efficiently and remain fit for purpose. You will supervise, plan and manage your team effectively to ensure all projects are successfully carried out, and project objectives are achieved. Through the effective building and maintenance of stakeholder relations, you will communicate and action tasks in an adaptable manner to meet all needs/requirements. Additionally, you will chair meetings, review and improve systems and procedures, and establish systems governance. You will ensure systems are covered by Business Continuity Plans, whilst ensuring they conform to Group security policy. You will take ownership for continuing personal development, maintaining an in-depth knowledge of current technologies to make constructive decisions. What you need to succeed At least 4 years' experience working as Applications Manager or similar and have experience of delivering Roadmaps within a TOGAF (or similar), environment. Attained ITIL v3 Foundation and/or have worked in an ITIL environment. Have a proven record of project execution and delivery and be able to effectively demonstrate Application team management achievements. Be results driven, have excellent interpersonal and articulate communication skills. What you'll get in return A salary of up to £65,000 (D.O.E), a holiday allowance of 25 days that increase to 30 after 5 years' service; can buy/ sell up to 5 days extra per year.
