Accounts Assistant Based: Manchester Salary: £23,000 We are currently working with a car manufacturing business who have just moved into their new head office based in Manchester city centre. Our client is looking to bring in an accounts assistant on a temporary basis. This is a role which is likely to be made permanent based on performance. The main responsibilities for this role are/will be: provide support to the accountant in all areas as directed provide a point of contact for clients in the absence of the accountant ensure the maintenance and accuracy of accounting records and systems are in accordance with company policies and procedures produce detailed, accurate and timely balance sheet and ledger reconciliations be responsible for all aspects of the accounting processes for review by the accountant prepare the daily bank reconciliation as required, end of day reports and intercompany payments reconcile and post bonuses and finance commissions post monthly prepayments and accruals, advertising costs, intercompany transfer and reconcile all balance sheet accounts prepare the monthly consignment stock reconciliation, head office sales ledger reports and departmental expense analysis undertake the preparation and completion of the monthly payroll and associated tasks including maintenance of all personnel and payroll records to include fiscal and financial year end reporting as required The successful candidate for this role will have/be: Worked in a similar role Immediately available to start work What's on offer?
