Overview
I am currently on the lookout for an Senior Automation Test Engineer/ SDET (Java/ Selenium) to join a successful trading firm based in London. The role will be a permanent role and will be working on a new project within the business. Responsibilities To work alongside development and business analyst teams to ensure customer requirements are captured in acceptance tests, and to use and abuse the system in ways no-one has thought of Help business analysts confirm their requirements have been met Question the assumptions that have been made that may lead to future requirements Note: it is important to note that this is not a UI or HTTP based product Essential experience. Exceptional knowledge of: Testing individual components End-to-end testing Testing failure scenarios Java, Object Oriented Design (must have set up frameworks from scratch) Exploratory testing MUST HAVE experience of at least three of the following: Electronic Trading / Understand the Electronic Trading Ecosystem - especially Fixed Income Messaging / network protocols Continuous Delivery Distributed / Event-Driven Systems Test Maintenance Managing a Continuous Integration environment API Testing FIX Protocol Permanent Location- London Salary - £90,000 - £130,000 If you feel like you are a strong match for my requirements, please send me over an updated copy of CV and I will get back in touch.
