Leading construction related company are looking for a Financial Controller to join their thriving business. Following acquisition and organic growth, this role offers challenge and complexity in this ever-evolving business. A great opportunity to instigate and facilitate process improvement to underpin the sustainable future growth of the division. The Financial Controller role will take ownership of the reporting for the division, budgeting, forecasting, statutory requirements as well as building strong relationships with commercial stakeholders. Detailed duties of the Financial Controller: Lead timely and accurate financial reporting of the division Ensure finance systems and balance sheet are reconciled and controlled regularly Capex reporting and monitoring Cashflow reporting Prepare financial results and analysis for monthly executive and board meetings Develop sound financial controls Lead budget setting process, working collaboratively with stakeholders Accurately forecast against budget Annual audit process, ensuring a smooth and timely Year End Identify risks and opportunities within the division, working closely with stakeholders to identify efficiencies Proactively seek solutions to problems, constantly looking for opportunities to improve the control environment and therefore the service delivered by the finance function What’s required from the incoming Financial Controller? Formally qualified with ACA/ACCA/CIMA with significant post qualified experience gained in a medium – large product focussed business Demonstrable experience of leading the finance activities described Confidence and gravitas to operate at a senior level Able to use initiative to develop systems and processes Fantastic benefits include 25 days holiday, generous defined contribution pension scheme, car allowance, bonus.
