Overview
Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are currently recruiting a team of support workers to work in the community, this will be working with the elderly, people with dementia and some end of life. Some of the service users are supported on a one to one basis, so this will involve lone working, but you will receive all necessary training and be fully introduced to the service users before you are expected to support them alone. As well as working as part of a committed and supportive team, you will also be liaising directly with families to ensure person centred care is delivered for each individual. Being a car driver is essential for this role, you must be happy to travel between service users. The areas we cover are Basildon, Wickford, Rochford and Billericay. You will not be expected to travel from one area to another in one day. For this role, you will need a minimum of 6 months experience working in care. Experience in working with the elderly is essential. We have a variety of different shift patterns available however the ideal candidate.
