Overview

Multitask Personnel have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Planner & Scheduler to join a rapidly growing company based in Doncaster South Yorkshire. Specialists in EV charging points, our client is on the lookout for a reliable, confident and organised individual to join their planning/Scheduling department on a full time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for organising the most effective routes for the field teams. Working closely with the Operations Centre to ensure service deliveries are made to customers on time and in the most efficient way possible. The role of the scheduler is to refine the schedules to maximise the number of services we deliver. Main Duties:- To plan and schedule routes for the field force, maximising the number of visits scheduled and ensuring that resources are fully utilised. To communicate effectively on daily conference calls as well as visiting sites with Operations Centre staff and working closely with them to respond to issues which arise each day. Working alongside the Planning & Scheduling Manager, ensuring that backlogs are controlled and kept at minimum levels. Future planning of schedules for the field teams supporting the EV & Smart Metering programme Calling customers to Make appointments Dealing with Customer complaints Work with the sales team to plan and schedule the work when required Record and pass on accurate reporting to our Business Improvement Manager. The ideal candidate will have:- Experience as a planner & scheduler - highly desirable Experience of using a planning system - highly desirable Strong analytical skills and numeric ability - essential. Personable and strong communication skills A sound knowledge of UK Geography - essential. A can-do, will-do mind-set which will see the job done. Experience of working towards and achieving daily and weekly targets (both team and individual). Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Salary - £18,200 Temp to Perm
