Portfolio Manager Location: Doncaster Salary £30k-£35k Aimee Willow Connex are working with a short term, asset-backed, bridging and development finance lender who are looking for a strong, enthusiastic Portfolio/Ops Manager to come in and help support their team Daily Duties for Portfolio Manager: Client file management and preparation - You will be required to maintain file integrity both prior to and after facility completions through to redemption and closure. Target maintenance - You will be required to maintain the Company’s in-house client management software 'Target’ and generate and maintain reports as required. Client management- You will be required to engage with clients directly (pre and post facility completion) to manage expectations and move facilities forward as appropriate. Key to this role is the transition of work between sales personal and the operations team in moving each lending proposal from a credit proposal to a live client. Team management - As the business continues to grow and teams expand part of your role will encompass delegation and organisation of operational matters to ensure multiple lending facilities can be managed to completion simultaneously. Sped of turnaround and accuracy is critical. Ongoing client monitoring - You will be required to monitor client interest payments to ensure facilities stay within terms and contact clients where appropriate to discuss their facility, discuss and process facility variations, and avoid facility defaults. Default recoveries - You will support the Operations Director as appropriate in pursuit of any monies that may result in an insolvency appointment and the management of that process. Liaising with other professionals - Your duties will incorporate liaising with valuation agents, solicitors, insolvency professionals and other agents as appropriate. Both via telephone and professional correspondence as required. Risk review - Contribute to pre-credit risk reviews as appropriate with the operations team. Contribute to post credit risk analysis based on the client’s maintenance patterns and report any concerns regarding any active client to the Operations Director. Experience needed for Portfolio Manager: Previous Portfolio or Operations Support Experience Understanding of Banking or Lending Policies and Procedures Proficient in all Microsoft Packages Excellent communication skills Drive and passion for being organised Ability to efficiently manage workload This role is predominantly an office-based role but has the chance to grow into an external-facing sales role for the right candidate The company will also offer an excellent benefits package as well as an enticing bonus scheme If you have the relevant experience and are excited to know more Please apply now
