Overview
Fantastic opportunity to streamline and develop a successful department within an industry-leading testing laboratory Overview: As a determined, focussed and dynamic Manager you will drive our clients business forward - focusing on continuous improvement and developing both operational and commercial functions within a fast paced laboratory. You will manage ca. 8 direct reports as well as some indirect reports, holding ultimate responsibility for day to day laboratory operations. A key aspect of your role will be to motivate and measure the productivity of your team, ensuring crucial deadlines are met, targets exceeded whilst quality standard are maintained. Role requirements: - Scientific, production or technology background - 3yrs management/leadership experience - Performance management - Deadline and quality driven - Excellent communication skills & ability to motivate others - Understanding of Profit & Loss / financial forecasting is desirable but not essential Due to the nature of the work undertaken, you must have lived in the UK for the last three years to pass mandatory security clearance screening.
