Overview
Our client is on a mission to reinvent the accountancy field and support fast-growth technology focused businesses scale their operations. As the leading challenger accountancy firm, they are utilising AI and machine learning to automate finance processes. Through this automation, the clients accounts are more accurate and timely but it also enables more time to work on commercial aspects of finance, driving growth for their clients business. Job responsibilities: Managing a client portfolio for a diverse range of tech startups providing an excellent, proactive service for the seed to venture backed portfolio. Manage monthly management accounts, VAT, PAYE, CT600 delivery, and provide interim CFO support to small portfolio of clients Supervise monthly accounting month end close ensuring junior staff members (3) deliver Prepare year-end statutory annual accounts for filing and returns to Companies House. Take proactive role in improving information and procedures Liaise with legal advisors over any fund raising issues and ensure procedures are met Onboarding clients to ensure the customer onboarding journey is seamless increasing client retention and relationships Exceptional standard of client services include professional clearance and monitoring response times to our internal SLA's General: Graduate degree with a 2:1 attained ACCA/ACA/CIMA newly qualified At least 4 years practice experience Experience of accounting for OMB's/SME's. Xero experience is a big plus Quickbooks experience is a big plus This role is ideally suited to someone with previous experience of working in a practice. You will be working with some really dynamic and fast growth businesses, so someone who enjoys a fast-paced style of work is key.
