Overview

Marketing and Events Procurement Specialist Solihull Permanent SF recruitment is currently working with a market leading, global, IT and Software Support business based in the Solihull area. My client is currently seeking an experienced Procurement specialist to optimize the vendor portfolio, build and maintain strategic relationships and negotiate contracts and agreements, focusing on managing the Marketing, Travel & Events portfolio for the EMEA region. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships; - Assist with driving cost reductions; - Participate and negotiate vendor agreements; - Assist the Marketing, Travel and Events functions with the sourcing of venues, event spaces and hotels; - Promote Procurement best practice; - Review contractural engagements in conjunction with local Legal departments; ensuring events contracts comply with country laws and regulations; - Plus More The successful candidate will have; - Strong interpersonal skills; - The ability to build strong relationships; - Hold or be working towards a CIPS qualification, or be willing to study and gain one; - Previous experience in procurement and purchasing (preferably in an international organisation, EMEA-wide); - The ability to work independently as well as in a team; - Previous experience in contract negotiation To be considered for this position, please send your most up to date CV to
