Marketing / Bid and Tenders Co-ordinator Solihull £27,000 - 31,000 per annum Excellent company benefits & bonus Our client is a global company providing technical services to some of the largest UK’s & worldwide engineering projects. This will is a fixed 12 month contract to start with multiple opportunities for a permanent contract. The role offers excellent scope for personal development and progression for an ambitious and hardworking candidate. Key Responsibilities This role will centre around supporting sales team with bid request, marketing, case studies, PQQ and tender interview presentation activities Structure Bid documentation, create templates to send to teams to populate, follow up and chase to ensure deadlines are being met To interpret research gathered and ensure it is written and articulated in company langauge Sourcing and providing content and examples for bids as well as pre-qualification Preparing reports on the current pipeline and assist in interpretation of reports from Microsoft CRM system Pro-actively delivering content for your teams/groups Pro-actively undertaking specific market & client research Manage event collateral, ensuring the materials are checked and accurate Understand budgets, update and monitor reports for your own area Gather information for the marketing department such as client research, sales presentations and content Handling calls for the department and some problem solving Developing relationships with existing and new clients Marketing and events planning activity, managing ad coordinating events, awards evenings and writing press material for internal and external avenues Essential Skills and Knowledge Excellent writing skills It is essential that the successful candidate is confident, proactive and detail-orientated individual who relishes the opportunity to manage and improve business development and marketing activity Must have experience of marketing related activities The ideal candidate will have worked with Bid co-ordination or preparation Good IT skills - all Microsoft packages including good competency on Powerpoint and Indesign Proactive and diligent Excellent organization skills Great initiative to 'keep things moving’ Strong multi tasker as needs to juggle multiple activities Reward and Benefits: Salary £27-31k per annum Hours of work - 37.5 - some flexibility required There are a list of core benefits, these include cover under the UK Healthcare Plan (private medical insurance), Life Assurance, Accident Insurance and Income Protection (long term disability) cover.
