Supply Chain Manager / Carlisle / Salary Dependant On Experience Your new company You will join an industry leading organisation offering an exciting Supply Chain challenge with excellent benefits Your new role You will lead, manage and provide strategic direction for the supply chain function where your primary focus will be on optimising customer service excellence and maximising operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include- Delivering a market leading customer experience by managing the end to end supply chain Providing positive leadership that will continuously develop the supply chain function Maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers Maintaining high levels of communication across all departments and excellent collaboration with sales teams through effective S&OP process Leading commercial negotiations for major procurement contracts; making recommendations on sourcing direction based on total cost of ownership, business risk and supply chain positioning Managing and controlling inventory levels to achieve agreed targets What you'll need to succeed You will be an excellent communicator who can develop and implement continuous improvements on supply chain strategy including purchasing, inventory management, planning, analysis, warehousing and distribution. CIPS qualified is beneficial, you will have an in-depth knowledge of supplier qualification processes and supplier performance metrics. Alongside this you will have an ability to assimilate data from various sources and synthesise inputs into actionable, cost-effective plans.
