Overview

My client is looking for a Workshop Supervisor from an engineering backgroundto be based at our new workshop in Cumbernauld . This is an exciting role for a global leading manufacturer. Starting salary £28,000 - £30,000 including benefits. The main purpose of the role is to deal with effective installation management and fitting of loader crane, skip lift and truck mounted forklifts onto a vehicles providing the highest quality connexion to the build specification. As the Workshop Supervisor you will oversee the workshop, engineers, welders and associated productivity levels towards achieving business KPI's. Complying with the highest standard of health and safety. Main tasks and responsibilities: Prioritise work scheduling, commutate daily build progress and control WIP Liaise with Logistics Controller(s) to ensure parts and stock levels are synchronised with build schedules Log all updates onto the SAP database Interact with Service Manager and undertake their requests Assists in purchase orders Undertake internal audits and adhere to business operating processes Takes the lead to ensure the health and safety of customers and service employees is the highest priority. Providing cover to ensure effective delivery of service to meet our customers’ needs and business needs Manages team of installers who are responsible for fitting, servicing, and repairing vehicle mounted lifting equipment. Schedules and oversees the installation of products Ensures adherence to contract specifications and established policies and procedures. The ideal candidate should have an Installation Supervisor Skills and Qualifications: They should be able to manage subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets One to three years supervisory experience may be required.
