Overview
Extrusion Operative (Setter/ Operator) Clacton on Sea Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, rotating shift 2 weeks of each shift below: 6:00am – 2:30pm including ½/hr unpaid lunch break 12:00am – 8:00pm including ½/hr unpaid lunch break. Night shift working 8:00pm – 06:00am including ½/hr unpaid lunch break. £Competitive Hourly rate Contributory Pension 20 Days Holiday Bank Holidays Extrusion Operative required for a very successful and local manufacturer. This is a great opportunity to work in a small team and on a new site that can offer long term job security. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of operating extrusion machinery but those with experience operating injection moulding machinery are also encouraged to apply. You will be mechanically minded, have good H & S awareness and in time, will be confident in running extruders on your own. The company are part of a global manufacturing operation and produce for many high profile industry sectors including Aerospace, Medical and Electronics manufacturing sectors. Ensure production lines are set to stated settings. Monitoring the quality of the process via product testing equipment. Undertake minor running repairs. Monday to Friday, 3 shift role. The Extrusion Operative: Experience working on Extrusion or injection moulding machinery. Previous operating or setting experience. Mechanically minded. Confident working alone and in a team.
