CNC Miller Setter Operator £25,000 to £30,500 Company Profile A growing precision engineering company are looking to expand, they have moved into a lager purpose-built manufacturing facility and have a growing client base. Excellent reputation for high quality, tight tolerance Precision Machined parts and components. You will be working with a small, highly skilled team of time served engineers in a friendly and open working atmosphere. Job Profile As the successful CNC Miller, you will be working alongside a highly skilled team of CNC Machinists and an approachable management team on up to date Haas CNC Milling machines. You will be producing high end parts, components and assemblies to a varied client base where each day will be different and rewarding. Duties: Setting and Operating 3 axis & 4 axis Haas CNC Mills Machining to tight tolerances of /- 0.02 Producing often complex small sized components of varying batch runs from 1 offs through to 1000s off Manning multiple machines when on production runs Working with various general engineering materials such as Brass, Stainless Steels and Ali Skills and Experience: Able to read engineering drawings Set and Operate Haas CNC Mills Machining to tight tolerances Can produce complex components Machining up to 4 axis would be ideal Hours of Work: 39hrs per week, 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday, 8am to 1pm, Friday Can be flexible on hours if needed £12.50 to £15.00 p/hr depending on experience OT – x1.333hrs for 39hrs per week and then x1.5hrs after 48hrs Key Skills: CNC, Machining, Machinist, Machine Shop, Component Manufacture, Component Manufacturing, Precision Engineer, Precision Engineering, Production, Mill, Miller, Milling, Set, Setter, Setting, Operate, Operator, Operating, Haas, Engineering Drawings, 3 axis, 4 axis, Subcontract, Subcontracting, Subcontractor
