An very well established consumer goods manufacturer based in the Hampshire area are looking for a Sourcing Buyer to join their growing operations team as they enter an exciting phase of growth. The Company Established for over 50 years in the market, they supply into some of the most innovative consumer goods and a looking for someone from this background to help them continue to succeed in their industry. Distinguished in the industry for their quality products, innovative ideas and sustainability, they are on a journey to success and need a senior sourcing professional to help them on their way. Sourcing Buyer Role: Supplier Negotiations to achieve best cost position for the business. Supplier Onboarding of new suppliers ensuring supplier compliance. Supplier Scorecard management, ensuring suppliers are achieving targeted KPI’s Negotiation and Management of purchasing contracts and agreements. Managing Supplier consignment inventory Managing all purchase orders within the business. Support the wider business operations and liaise with global procurement team Sourcing Buyer Requirements: Previous experience working within Purchasing or Supply Chain- consumer goods is necessary. Experience of working within global sourcing strategy Good communication skills for use with external suppliers and internal stakeholders. Strong Negotiation skills. Demonstrate examples of achieved cost savings. CIPS qualification or working towards would be highly advantageous. In return, you will receive a salary of up to £45,000, medical care, 25 days holiday, competitive pension and a bonus scheme.
