Overview
Here at Recon Services, we are now looking for an experienced, reliable Class 2 driver who is looking for ongoing multi drop work. Drivers are the face of our client so it’s about ensuring you deliver a great impression to the customers, not just the goods It’s about making the right impression with your professional attitude, appearance and the look of your vehicle. As a professional driver, you are responsible for: Ensuring the load is delivered in excellent condition Completing all paperwork correctly and, above all, leaving our customers and road users with a really positive impression of you and of our client. This position will be ongoing for the correct candidate, working Monday – Friday, with weekend work available in the busier periods. Typical start times can be between 06:00 - 08:00am. Shifts varying between 8 - 12 hours. The role includes: • Accurate picking on vehicle and delivery of customer orders • Collecting monies • Maintaining product temperatures • Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA • Compliance with Health and Safety (SSOW), hygiene and other related legislation You’ll have: • HGV2 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) • Strong communication and teamwork skills • The knowledge and initiative to solve basic problems and make routine decisions • The ability to complete paperwork in an orderly fashion • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills The Pay (LTD) Monday to Friday - £12 per hour days The Pay (PAYE) Monday to Friday - £11 per hour days Benefits of working with us: 24 hour help & support from our team Weekly Pay Free on-site parking A Successful applicant would: Have at least 6 months HGV Class 2 experience, a clean license and over the age of 25 Hold valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card If you feel you have the requirements listed above and would like opportunity to work with our company, then please contact us on 01922895996 or text "CLASS2MULTI" to 07425296108 We look forward to hearing from you
